We are delighted to announce that Longwood Engineering has renewed our partnership with The Welcome Centre, helping them continue to provide essential services for local people facing hardship and crisis.
As a longstanding supporter of the charity, we are committed to supporting our local community. Our latest donation of £3,000 will help them continue delivering vital food bank services and wider support to those who need it most.
Laura Battye, Director of Longwood Engineering, said:
“Longwood Engineering is proud to support The Welcome Centre and the excellent service they provide to the local community. Their mission to assist people facing food poverty and personal challenges through advice, crisis support, housing assistance and other essential services is truly invaluable.
Through our Business Sustainability Charter, we are committed to supporting local charities and taking part in fundraising initiatives that strengthen and enhance the communities around our business. We are pleased to continue our partnership with The Welcome Centre and support the important work they do.”
Charlie Taylor, Fundraising Manager at The Welcome Centre, said:
“Corporate partnerships play a vital role in enabling us to continue providing life-changing support to people across our community. Donations like this are especially valuable because they are unrestricted, meaning we can direct the funds wherever the need is greatest. This flexibility allows us to respond quickly to changing circumstances and growing demand for our services.
We are incredibly grateful to Longwood Engineering for their continued support and are looking forward to working even more closely with them in the future. We are also delighted that they will be holding a food collection in support of Food Bank Awareness Day on Friday 4 September.”
